Des Killeen – Director

Des has 38 years’ experience in all aspects of metal fabrication, welding and steel erection. Des runs and manages the workshop ensuring all Killeen Engineering customers receive top quality products and services from our company.

If Des isn’t elbows deep in an engineer’s drawing or fabrication of a steel solution, he enjoys socialising with friends and family.

Ben Killeen – Director

Ben’s experience is in sales, marketing and finance. Ben run’s and manages the commercial side of the business looking after Killeen engineering sales, quotations, marketing and financials.

Ben ensures all Killeen Engineering customers receive competitive and accurate proposals. When Ben isn’t writing quotations or putting together risk assessments he enjoys socialising with friends and working on start-up businesses.

Brian – General Manager

Brian is our General Manager. His specialism is gate automation/barriers/automatic doors. Brian is a qualified electrician, experienced with access control systems and IP Based security systems.

Brian has 20+ years of experience as a technician and in system designs.

Brian enjoys spending his free time outdoors, gardening, and enjoying time with his family.

Áine – Internal sales manager

Áine takes care of Administration at Killeen Engineering.  Assisting customers plan and design their new gates and automation, or ordering steel.

When out of the office, Áine can be found baking delicious treats.

Emily – Sales Guru

Emily has joined the Sales Gurus at Killeen Gate Centre.

She previously held the position of Personal Assistant to our executive team.

Brian – Technical Business Development Manager

Brian is our Technical Business Development Manager.

Brian is a fully qualified and certified electrician with 25 years experience specialising in automation and safety solutions for the Access Control industry

When not keeping up to date with the latest technological advances in our industry he enjoys nothing more than watching his beloved Leinster.

Carol – Accounts

Carol has joined the Accounts department following on from a number of years as Pre-Sales Executive.  She holds a degree in psychology.

When Carol gets a free moment from looking after her young family, she can be found marathon running.

Niall – Service Co-Ordinator

Niall is our Service Coordinator. He has over 13 years’ experience working in the diving and welding sectors. He is a skilled metal fabricator and has been with Killeen for a number of years.

Niall has been involved in large-scale projects, such as the underground high speed in London and various similar projects in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Australia using MIG/TIG/MMA on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Additionally,  he has been involved in diving projects in most of Europe, the North Sea, and Africa.
