6 Steps away from your new gates
Killeen Engineering has been working from home thanks to the technology provided by our sister company SenSys Technology.
To enable us to conduct business efficiently and continue issuing quotes for new electric gates, we have introduced a virtual site survey system. The aim of the system is to serve our customers whilst reducing face to face contact for everyone – keeping both our customers and our staff safe.
There are six steps in the process:
1 Taking images of the entrance;
2 Getting measurements (see guide below);
3 Advising of the style gate, automation type;
4 Will you need assistance with power supply;
5 A quotation issued via email & discussed;
6 Confirmed orders will require a contactless measurement by us.
This a measurement guide.
Stand outside your property, looking inwards.
Try to take accurate measurements for figs A, B and C.
A and B are taken from just underneath your pillar cap to the ground. One measurement for the left and one for the right. Do not assume that both sides are the same height.
C – is the width between the two pillars.
NOTE: We ask you to be as accurate as you can, however, if you proceed with an order, we will be sending someone out to take more comprehensive measurements for our workshop to create your new gates from.
