Killeen Engineering received an enquiry about removing an old gate, it’s automation/cabling and replacing it with a new secure model at a business premises in a residential setting.
One of our team visited the site for an inspection survey, to discuss the client’s needs and take measurements. With this information gathered, a new design was suggested – fabrication and works were agreed upon.

The old gate was dismantled and removed. Pre existing automation, cabling + gate fixings, brackets to be removed safely.

In with the new
A new set of manual swing gates were fabricated in our workshop, replacing the original single sliding gate. These gates are similar to the Lumiere Gate from our Craft Collection but feature a ‘straight across’ top rather than arched. Two drop bolts were added for securing the gate at these business premises.
A practical durable finish was provided by the galvanising process.
Secure metal plates and concrete were used where previous automation, fixing and brackets existed, leaving a clean professional finish.

Retrofit automation services
Killeen Engineering can help with new and retrofit automation. It may be possible to retrofit automation to your existing large gate. This could be using overground arms for swing gates, or sliding motor with a ground rail.
