Side Gates – by Killeen Engineering

Range of designs

We receive a lot of enquiries about side gates. This blog post hopes to address some of your initial questions.

Similar to our large gate collections – we can fabricate and install side gates in ornate steel designs or steel frames backed with timber (siberian larch, cedar or iroko) or from our range of coloured PVC recycled boards.

If you have an existing entrance gate, we can match to that design.

Made to order

All of our gates are made to order by our wonderful fabricators in our premises in Co. Meath. This means that any of our designs can be customised according to your tastes or you can design your own. Find out more information on how our sales process works. Read about our 10 Year Structural Guarantee.

Gate locks & handles

When it comes to securing your gate, all of our side/pedestrian gates come with a standard side bolt. We do offer a range of other locks and handles to suit the purpose of your entrance. Quality Locinox lock & latch options in stainless steel, solid stainless steel deadbolts & inserts, left & right-hand applications.

The pros and cons of each type of lock and their suitability for your garden or side gate can be discussed over the phone or at a site visit, prior to gate fabrication & installation.

Why not break up a larger entrance by adding side gates?
